How much maintenance will my log home require?

A: The two main areas of maintenance will be staining and caulking.  This is an area you do not want to skimp on.  We recommend Sikkens wood finishes and Log Builder caulks.  After the initial process you will need to re-stain and caulk your home every 3 to 5 years depending on how much sun, wind and rain your home gets.
